The State of Ohio has given us a unique opportunity to help fund our students’ Catholic Education. Ohio currently offers a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, up to $750 individually or $1,500 for couples filing jointly. This tax credit gives you the choice to designate funds towards a child’s education at St. Anthony School.
Last year, parishioners directed over $88,000 of Ohio tax funding to St. Anthony School, at no cost to them, through this Ohio tax credit program! Through these donations, we were able to support 50 students with scholarships to reduce their tuition.
The Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) we are partnering with is called Every Child Every Family. You can visit their website to learn more or donate at: https://everychildeveryfamily.org. To donate, click on the Contribute Today button at the top and select Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic School (Columbus Grove) in the drop down menu. Their organization will send you a tax letter you’ll need to submit when filing your taxes.
