St. Anthony’s Sixth Graders Partner with Putnam County Community Thrift Store
The sixth graders at St. Anthony’s recently partnered with the Putnam County Community Thrift Store in Ottawa for a hands-on service project. Students visited the Thrift Store Warehouse, where they dismantled unwanted items to prepare materials for recycling. This project not only helped reduce waste but also supported efforts to protect the environment.
Proceeds from both the Thrift Store sales and recycling efforts are used to purchase food and household necessities for Putnam County residents in need. Through their work, the sixth graders gained a meaningful understanding of community service, environmental stewardship, and caring for neighbors.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is planning to increase their presence at the three Catholic schools in the county during school Masses. Please do not be alarmed if you see a sheriff's car in the lot or a sheriff in the church during our Mass times.
Columbus Grove is selling student football tickets for $1.00 to this Friday's game. Tickets can be purchased in our school office every morning this week.

4th Graders were challenged to collaborate with team mates to build the tallest tower using only 3 pieces of paper and 12 inches of tape.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing Labor Day weekend! Please note that St. Anthony's will be closed on Monday, September 1st, in observance of the holiday. Let's take a moment to honor the contributions of American workers. Enjoy your time off!
